Services for Linda Vess Hightower, 66, Grand Saline, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Thursday, December 17, 2020, at Bartley Funeral Home, with Don Kirkpatrick officiating.
Linda Gail Vess Hightower passed away December 12, 2020, in Tyler. She was born November 5, 1954, in Grand Saline, to H. A. “Brub” & Sibyl Sloan Vess. Linda graduated from GSHS, Class of 1973, and spent most of her life in Grand Saline, where she was a member of First Church of the Nazarene. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Laura Pearl; brothers, Billy Fred Vess, Samuel Henry Vess, and Alvin Earl Vess; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Survivors include her sister, Helen Watson and husband Randy of Grand Saline; brothers, Howard Vess and wife Karen of Oklahoma City, OK, Gus Vess and wife Vickie of Van, Charles Vess and wife Elaina of Wylie, Herman Vess and wife Marty of Quitman, and William Vess of Mesquite; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
