Graveside services for Billy Farris Hill, 91, of Richardson, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Saturday, October 26, 2024, at Salem Cemetery, Alba, under the direction of Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba.
Mr. Hill passed away Sunday, October 20, 2024, in Richardson. He was born February 25, 1933, in Bright Star, to Farris F. and Maud Jones Hill. Billy lived the last 65 years in Richardson and was a member of Richardson Heights Baptist Church. He proudly served in the US Air Force during the Korean War. In August of 1958, he married Margie Jeanette Locke. He was an active member in Toastmasters and loved giving speeches. He had his pilot’s license and enjoyed flying private planes. He also enjoyed skiing, reading, volunteering on mission trips and helping others. Billy was skilled in woodworking and fixing cars, and he could basically fix anything. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Eric Brent Hill; brother, Lew Gary Hill; and sister, Shirley Ann Lewis.
Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Margie Hill of Richardson; daughter, Theresa McCullough and husband Ron of Burleson; two grandchildren, Logan McCullough and Nicole McCullough; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers are Ron McCullough and Logan McCullough.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. - 1:45 p.m., at the funeral home Saturday, before leaving for the cemetery.
