Patsy “Pat” Frances Hill

Our loving mother, Patsy “Pat” Frances Hill was granted her angel wings on August 23, 2012. Pat is preceded in death by her precious husband, Clyde James Hill Sr. of 58 ½ years. She is survived by their five children (in birth order), Shannon & Jerry Hance of Grand Saline, Clyde Jr. & Kay Hill of Magnolia, Pam & Jim Harvath of Grand Saline, Stacy & Randy Taylor of Alba, and Kelly & Dietra Hill of Midlothian, along with multiple children that adopted her as “Mom”; 14 grandchildren and their spouses; and 22 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, David Hernandez Jr. “Buddy” and his wife Nancy of Dallas; her sister, Esther and her husband Donald R. Brackenridge Sr. of Grand Saline; her sister-in-law and best friend, Nelva Hernandez of Lancaster; as well as many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and special friends.
Pat was 74 years young and beautiful when she met the Lord face to face. She was considered the ultimate Proverbs 31 woman by her loved ones; she loved to work in her flower beds and to have little tea parties with her grandchildren, but most of all she loved the Lord with all her heart which showed in her loving, sincere prayers. She never missed a time to pray for those that needed it. Oh, how we will miss her and those precious and effectual prayers.
Services will be held at New Horizons Church on Hwy 80 in Grand Saline, with Pastors Jim Atkins and Jerry Williams officiating.
Interment will follow in Woodside Cemetery under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home, Grand Saline.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
