Pat Hodges

Services for Pat Hodges, 74, of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Wednesday, August 25, 2021, at Bartley Funeral Home with Kyle White officiating.
Interment will be in Woodside Cemetery.
Ms. Hodges passed away August 20, 2021, in Dallas. She was born November 21, 1946, in Dallas to Edward Ray & Mattie Mosel Elliott Hodges. Pat spent her early years in Grand Saline and graduated from GSHS, Class of 1964. She attended Kilgore College for 2 years and served as Captain of the Kilgore Rangerettes. Pat moved on to Sam Houston State University where she earned her bachelor’s degree. She obtained her master’s degree from SMU. In order to receive her degree, Pat was required to choreograph a dance performance that was showcased at the McFarlin Auditorium. After college, she began her teaching career at Odessa College where she created and directed the "Señoritas Dance Team". Pat spent over 40 years at Odessa College and retired in 2010 to spend time with family, travel, and paint. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her daughter, Holly Fletcher & Brian Wingo of Grand Saline; two grandchildren, Lauren Fletcher & B.J. Copeland of Grand Saline, and Matthew Fletcher of Grand Saline; four great-grandchildren, Jolene LaRae, Benjamin, Bailee, and Bryleigh; her dearest friends, Rex & Kathi White of Grand Saline, and Ann Clinkscales of Plano; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Rex White, Mutt Pugh, Jimmy Hollowell, Matthew Fletcher, Brian Wingo, B.J. Copeland, Buddy Camper, and George Hull.
Memorials may be made to The Old School Museum in Grand Saline.
The family will receive friends 1 p.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home before the service.
