Services for Bernice Hogue, 91 of Edgewood, are scheduled for 12 Noon at Bartley Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Winskie officiating under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home.
Interment will follow in Creagleville Cemetery.
Mrs. Hogue passed away November 7, 2012 at a Tyler hospital. She was born July 26, 1921 in Alba to George Washington & Flora Bell Cantrell Hazelwood. She spent many years in Pleasant Grove before moving to the Van Zandt County area 25 years ago. She was a member of Richland Heights Baptist Church. Mrs. Hogue was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Edward Hogue; son, Wilton Hogue; daughter, Brenda Rhea; brothers, Rosco Hazelwood, Frank Hazelwood and Billy Hazelwood; and sisters, Hope Hart, Clara Pennington, Georgia Morgan, Lamona Tippett, Ann Goin and Ruth Sanders.
Survivors include her sons, Robert Hogue and James Hogue, both of Grand Saline; daughter, Wanda Heddin of Edgewood; sister, Betty Miller of Quitman; 12 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Robert Whaley, Silas Whaley, James Hogue, Bobby Hogue, Katelynn Hogue and Robert Hogue, Jr.
The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to services on Saturday.
Interment will follow in Creagleville Cemetery.
