Memorial services for Karen Hopkins, 66 of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Saturday, March 24, 2012 at Caney Creek Cowboy Church with Bro. Bill Polley and Eddie Smith officiating under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home, Grand Saline.
Mrs. Hopkins passed away March 21, 2012 in Grand Saline. She was born December 8, 1945 in Hooks to Ingram H. & Alice Lee Cullers Garth. She spent most of her life in Dallas before moving to Grand Saline 21 years ago. She was a charter member of Caney Creek Cowboy Church. Mrs. Hopkins is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Pat Garth; and sister, Frances Garth Fountain.
Survivors include her husband, Garry Hopkins of Grand Saline; daughter, Angie Yarbrough and husband Don of Grand Saline; two step-daughters, Paula Hopkins of Forney and Kerry Hammack and husband Keith of Forney; three grandchildren, Sarah Ballard and husband Chance, Katelyn Hammack and Keller Hammack; and one great-grandson, Gage Ballard.
