Services for Marvon Armstrong Horton, 74, of Emory, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Friday, February 15, 2019, at Silver Lake Baptist Church.
Interment will be in Silver Lake Cemetery under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home.
Mrs. Horton passed away February 12, 2019, in Ft. Worth. She was born June 26, 1944, in Terrell, to Marvin & Evelyn Penney Armstrong. She spent most of her life in Emory, was Baptist and a housewife. Marvon is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jesse Horton; three sisters; five brothers; and three grandchildren, Sharry Lee Stowell, Billy Jones III and Brittany Sanders.
Survivors include her sons, Dewayne Taylor and wife Michelle of Garland and Terry Taylor and wife Christie of Caddo Mills; three daughters, Rhonda Carrier and husband Glenn of Crandall, Thriesa Jones of Mesquite and Tammy Williams of Ft. Worth; sister, Brenda Clark of Kaufman; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to services on Friday at the church.
