Services for Mack Junior Hutchins, 100, of Alba, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at Alba Methodist Church, with Rev. Joanne Elston officiating, under the direction of Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba.
Interment will follow in Turner Cemetery, Emory.
Mr. Hutchins passed away May 7, 2023, in Tyler. He was born November 15, 1922, in Rains County, to Edward Zachariah “Bud” and Sadie Idelia Hall Hutchins. Mack was born and raised in Alba and was a member of Alba Methodist Church. He served in the US Army Air Corp during World War II. He lived in Ft. Worth and worked as a plant operator for T.U. Electric. He moved back to Alba in 1984, retiring after 35 years of service. Mack was a Mason for over 70 years and a member of Masonic Lodge # 382 in Yantis. He also served 31 years in the Boy Scouts. He loved to fish and tell fishing stories. He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant sister; sisters, Zora Lee McKenzie, Ara Jane Brown, Bonnie Hays Eads, Ola Vee Morgan, Mabel Louise Eads, brother, Edward Denton Hutchins, and daughter-in-law, Ginger.
Survivors include his forever best friend of 20 years, Mae Lindsey of Alba; two sons, Wesley Lee Hutchins of Arlington and James Mark Hutchins of Azle; brother, Johnnie Ferrell Hutchins of Alba; eleven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be local members of the Masonic Lodge.

The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Saturday, May 13, 2023, at the funeral home.
