Dolores Hyde

Graveside services for Dolores Jean Spaugh Hyde, 83, of Pasadena, are scheduled for 2 p.m, Wednesday, November 20, 2019, at Salem Cemetery.
Mrs. Hyde passed away November 17, 2019 in Pasadena. She was born January 26, 1936, in the Bright Star Community of Rains Co. to Bynum & Jewel Fuller Spaugh. She spent her early years in Alba where she graduated from Alba High School, Class of 1954. She was an avid basketball player in her younger years, scoring 40 points in a single game. She also loved to play golf and to entertain her friends and family. She had lived in the Houston area for the last 65 years where she was a member of Southside Church of Christ in Pasadena. Dolores was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Kenneth Spaugh; sister, Georgia Timpani; and son-in-law, David Crawford.
Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Leon Hyde of Pasadena; son, Marc Hyde and wife Gayle of Pasadena; two daughters, Gina Hyde Soto and husband John and Gayla Hyde Crawford, all of Pasadena; brother, Dwain Spaugh and wife Loretta of Bellville; six grandchildren, Leah King, Cristin Crawford, Lauren Gardner, Hillary Shelton, Clay Soto and Grayson Soto; five great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
