Jack Carroll Reeves

Graveside services for Jack Carroll Reeves, 88, of Lindale, are scheduled for 11 am, Monday, April 27, 2026, with Bro. Reggie Day officiating under the direction of Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba.

Mr. Reeves passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2026, in Emory. He was born January 22, 1938, in Diboll, Texas, to John Dewey and Velma Elma Houseworth Reeves. On November 24, 1982, he married Sandra Sharon Morgan in Lindale. Jack spent most of his life in the Lindale and Tyler area before moving to St. Joe, Arkansas, 18 years ago. He was a hardworking man who enjoyed fishing, barbequing, and watching sports. Jack proudly served in the US Navy during the Vietnam Era. Above all, he cherished time with his family.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Alton Reeves; sister, Velma Glen Bellard; and his first wife, Martha Ann Reeves.

Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Sandra Reeves of Tyler; son, Jeff Reeves and wife Teri of Liberty Hill; two daughters, Shelia Aaron and husband Mark of Emory and Sharon Taylor and husband Scott of Mineola; stepdaughter, Donna Cheyne and husband Jim of Alabama; stepson, Mike Gray and wife Gail of Tyler; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
