Larry Jackson

Services for Larry Jackson, 53, of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 11 a.m., Saturday, March 5, 2022, at Bartley Funeral Home, with Bro. Donnie Herring officiating.

Interment will be in Woodside Cemetery.

Mr. Jackson passed away February 27, 2022, in Houston. He was born February 27, 1969, in Dallas. He spent his early years in Tennessee and Mississippi, and he graduated from Victoria Christian Academy in Victoria, MS. Larry moved to Grand Saline in 1992, where he worked at Bunker Plastics for 15 years, then at Allied Waste, and the last 8 years at Morton Salt. He was involved in the GSYF, and an avid Dallas Cowboy’s fan. Larry is preceded in death by his mother, Diane Jackson; sister, Carrie Ann Jackson; and niece, Lexie Lovell.

Survivors include the mother of his children, Jami Jackson of Grand Saline; father, Skeeter Jackson and wife Nancy of Selmer, TN; three sons, Riley Jackson and wife Morgan of Holly Lake, Willie Jackson of Grand Saline, and Jakobe Jackson of Grand Saline; brother, Brian Jackson and wife Crystal of Lake Fork; two grandchildren, Addison and Lexi; five nephews, Cody Dabbs, Cameron Dabbs, Wyatt Sessions, Colter Sessions, and Josh Jackson; his closest friends, Dwayne “Bub” Bolin, Kenneth Hejny, and Amy Johnson; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Bub Bolin, Kenneth Hejny, B.J. Bolin, Gary Pettis, Richard Rivera, and Scott Heddins.

The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Friday, March 4, 2022, at the funeral home.
