Murlene Evan Jackson passed away January 8, 2013 in Van. She was born January 21, 1918 in Grand Saline to Henry & Effie Mae Lowe Copeland. She spent most all of her life in Grand Saline where she worked as a sales clerk. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Jackson; and siblings, Estell Whatley, Claude McCullough and Vernon McCullough.
Survivors include her daughters, Darlene Lackey of Fruitvale and Kathy Smith and husband Doug of Grand Saline; sister, Pat Gillispie of Grand Saline; five grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
