Jan Jones Feil

Mrs. Jan Jones Feil, 83, passed away February 5, 2026, at her home in Alba. She was born, January 14, 1943, in Tyler, to John Paul and Rosa Lee Hurt Jones. On June 16, 1978, she married Jon Feil in Mineola. She lived most of her life in the Alba area and was a member of Lake Fork Baptist Church. She loved “junkin”, spending time with her family, and game nights at the church. She enjoyed music and all the folks in her Sunday School Class. Jan was preceded in death by her parents; and great-grandson, Theo Bowdoin.

Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Jon Feil of Alba; three sons, James Bowdoin and wife Angie of Alba, John Bowdoin and wife Tami of Florida, and Lance Feil of Lindale; two daughters, Lee Ann Cockrum and husband Billy of Golden and Dana Feil of Lindale; 18 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren with one more on the way; and numerous other relatives and friends.

A memorial service is scheduled for 10:30 a.m., Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Lake Fork Baptist Church, Alba, with Bro. Barry McClure officiating, under the direction of the church and family.
