Myers Jennings

Mr. Myers Jennings, 93, of Grand Saline, passed away April 12, 2025. He was born December 30, 1931, in Grand Saline, to Jesse Roy & Minnie Myers Jennings. Myers graduated from Grand Saline High School, Class of 1949, and then served in the US Army. He retired as a conductor for Union Pacific Railroad.

Mr. Jennings is preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Russell, Doyle, Lee, and Junior; and three sisters, Vera Kirby, Patsy Rhodes, and Jeann Rodgers.

Survivors include his wife of 72 years, Glenda Churchwell Jennings; two sons, Michael Evan Jennings (Kathleen) of Garland, and Dennis Eugene Jennings (Cindi) of Grand Saline; eight grandchildren, Brian Jennings (Kathy), Brook Flores (Chris), Drew Jennings (Stephanie), Ryan Kathleen Jennings, Matthew Jennings, Faith Armstrong (Ryan), Claire Jennings, and Emma Jennings; seven great-grandchildren, Jake Jennings, Lauren Jennings, Tucker Jennings, Weston Jennings, Penny Jennings, Scout Flores, and Rhys Weydemuller; and numerous other relatives and friends.
