Peggy Jones

Services for Peggy Gossett Jones, 76, of Fruitvale, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Wednesday, July 13, 2016, at Bartley Funeral Home with Bro. Donnie Herring and Sis. Delana Wheeler officiating.
Interment will be in Creagleville Cemetery.
Mrs. Jones passed away July 11, 2016, at her home in Fruitvale. She was born February 24, 1940, in Winfield to James Harold & Hazel Booth Gossett. She was a member of Riverside Mission Church and worked as a medication aide for many years. Peggy is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Charlie Gossett; two sisters, Ruby Price and Pat Ariola; and great-granddaughter, Gracie Bernice Jones.
Survivors include her 6 sons, David Ray Jones of Fruitvale, Charles Jones of Fruitvale, James Jones of Fruitvale, Joseph Jones of Fruitvale, Landon Jones of Grand Saline and Vincent Jones of Fruitvale; two daughters, Shelly Jones of Tawakoni and Crystal Ferguson of Wills Point; brother, Harold Ray Gossett of Mexia; two sisters, Nancy Smith and Betty Davis, both of Edgewood; 20 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, 6-8 p.m., at the funeral home.
