Mary Wheeler-Jones-Sanderson

ALBA – Services for Mary Evelyn Wheeler-Jones-Sanderson, 82, of Alba, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 22, 2014, at West Fork Presbyterian Church, Grand Prairie, with Rev. Dr. Eleanor Cherryholmes officiating.
Burial will be in Watson Cemetery, Grand Prairie, under direction of Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba.
Mrs. Sanderson passed away Monday, February 17, 2014, in a Tyler hospital.
She was born April 27, 1931, in Watson Community, Tarrant County, to the late Henry Olen and Anna Mae Lubke Wheeler. She graduated from Arlington High School in 1948. She lived most of her life in Grand Prairie where she was a loan officer in the banking industry, and served as an Elder in West Fork Presbyterian Church. She was a charter member of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution and a life-time member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She moved to Alba two and a half years ago.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Larry A. and Deborah Jones of Alba; daughter, Caryn Marie Spradlin and fiancé, Lou Burgess, of Virginia; brother and sister-in-law, Ernest and Maxine Wheeler of Arlington; sister, Mildred Hilbun of Arlington; 6 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Robert Sanderson.
Pallbearers are Mark Jones, Tobias Mitchell, Steven Wells, Wayne Nicks, Rich Kyle, Scott Jenkins, and Troy Spradlin.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday 6-8 p.m., and one hour before the service at the church.
