Virginia Jones

Memorial services for Virginia Ann Jones, 57, are scheduled for 11 a.m., Monday, February 10, 2025, at Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba, with Bro. Randy Larpenteur officiating.

Mrs. Jones passed away February 7, 2025, at her residence in Alba. She was born September 23, 1967, in Wylie, to Douglas Allen and Mary Lee Tyler Dorman. Virginia moved to the Alba area in 2002 and was a member of the Nazarene Church of Mineola. On January 25, 2003, she married Glen Allen Jones in Alba. She loved crafting, holidays, and family gatherings. She also enjoyed vacationing at the beach in Galveston. She worked as a manager for Champagne, Inc., in Lindale, and was very passionate about helping adults with special needs. Virginia was preceded in death by her mother; and sister, Karen Dorman.

Survivors include her husband of 22 years, Glen Jones of Alba; father, Douglas Dorman of Greenville; three sons, Eric Kolbo of Alba, Delivan Jones of Alba, and Kody Jones of Garland; three daughters, Heather Jackson and husband Justin of Golden, Krisha Jones of Greenville, and Tricia Jones of Alba; brother, Michael Dorman and wife Teresa of Allen; sister, Sharon Laird of Greenville; seven grandchildren, Preston, Payton, Parkin, Gavin, Savannah, Paisley, Jax, and one more on the way; and numerous other relatives and friends.
