Santos Jose

Services for Santos Jose, 55, of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Tuesday, December 8, 2015, at Main Street Baptist Church with Pastor Tobias Palma and Juan Valdez officiating under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home.
Interment will be in Woodside Cemetery.
Mr. Jose passed away December 4, 2015, in Tyler. He was born January 24, 1960 in San Nicolas, Hidalgo-Mexico to Calixto Jose Sr. & Magdalena Mondono. He spent most of his life in Mexico before moving to Grand Saline 25 years ago. He worked for Grand Saline ISD for 20 years and was a member of Iglesia Bautista La Fe. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife Elvira Jose of Grand Saline; two sons, Gustavo Jose and Noe Jose, both of Grand Saline; two daughters, Rebecca Jose and Melissa Jose, both of Grand Saline; three brothers, Castancio Jose of Virginia, Cresencio Gomez and Calixto Jose, both of San Nicolas, Mexico; sister, Esperanza Mendoza Jose of Lindale; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Ricky LaPrade, Regino Mendoza, Mario Aguilar, Jose Aguilar, Adrian Aguilar and Matt Grimes.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Monday at the funeral home.
