Services for Mrs. Ruby Kirkpatrick, 76, of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 10 a.m., Friday, October 10, 2014, at Bartley Funeral Home with Bro. Danny LaPrade officiating.
Interment will follow in Mason Cemetery, Arp.
Mrs. Kirkpatrick passed away October 6, 2014, in Quitman. She was born November 2, 1937, in Dallas to Clay Wilburn & Georgia Ophelia Driver Rankins. She spent her life in Dallas and Lancaster before moving to Grand Saline 25 years ago. She was a member of East Center Baptist Church. She was a great pastor's wife and played the piano for church for 49 years. She was the best Mother and Grandmother ever to her kids and grand kids. Ruby was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Virgil Kirkpatrick; sisters, Mildred Birdwell and Christine Payne; and brother, Butch Rankins.
Survivors include her three daughters, Rebecca & Mark Conley of Grand Saline, Becky Baxter of Sherman and Beth Wiggs of Arlington; brother, Kenneth Rankins of New Braunfels; sister, Nancy Ford of Mississippi; four grandchildren, Christie Tittle, Heather Barber, Holli Conley and Jessica Moore; six great-grandchildren, Jordan Tittle, Karlee Tittle, Hunter Houck, Tyler Houck, Kaytilyn Barber and Chloe Moore; and many other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Jordan Tittle, Jeff Tittle, Stephen Hasha, Nick Barber, Mark Conley and Ben Driver.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Thursday, October 9, 2014, at the funeral home.
