Services for Arline Fisher Koonce, 91, of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 11 a.m., Friday, October 31, 2014, at First Baptist Church, Grand Saline, with Bro. James Neidholt officiating under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Haven of Memories, Canton.
Mrs. Koonce passed away October 27, 2014 in Tyler. She was born September 5, 1923, in the Clark Community of Van Zandt County to Jim Foster & Mary Washmon Fisher. She spent most all of her life in Grand Saline where she was a member of First Baptist Church and worked as a sale barn office clerk in Emory, Wills Point, Mineola and Terrell. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Hubert Koonce, Sr.; son, Hubert Koonce, Jr.; and sister, Glenda Thompson.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael Glen & Judy Koonce of Grand Saline and Danny Jim & Vera Koonce of Houston; three brothers, Jimmy & Barbara Fisher of Grand Saline, Keith & Shirley Fisher of Lake Fork and Ralph & Mona Fisher of Grand Saline; three sisters and brother-in-law, Audrey Ewalt of Wills Point, Linda Kay & Benny Hollowell of Grand Saline and Sherry Fisher of Grand Saline; seven grandchildren, Apryl Iley and husband James of Plano, Crystal Goodson and husband Daniel of Grand Saline, Shera Clair and husband Cary of Glen Rose, Fallyn Maciel and husband Mark of Grand Saline, Seth Koonce of Houston, Dera Moy and husband Eli of Houston and David Koonce of Houston; thirteen great-grandchildren, Michael Wallace, Christopher Goodson, Nathan Goodson, Graham Goodson, Collin Clair, Sam Clair, Madelyn Maciel, Carter Maciel, Memphis Maciel, Cayden Koonce, Kaleb Moy, Kainan Moy and Kornelius Moy; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Seth Koonce, David Koonce, James Iley, Daniel Goodson, Cary Clair, Mark Maciel, and Eli Moy.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Thursday, October 30, 2014, at the funeral home.
