Mrs. Vickie Koonce, 60, of Grand Saline, passed away April 30, 2025. She was born February 24, 1965, in Mt. Pleasant, to Roy Lee & Paula Landrum Stinnett. She spent her early years in Winnsboro, before moving to Grand Saline 44 years ago. Vickie married Charles Koonce in Quitman, on January 6, 1981.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and daughter, Amanda Calvery.
Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Charles Dale Koonce of Grand Saline; son, Dawain Koonce and wife Amber of Fruitvale; two brothers, Randy Stinnett and wife Barbie of Van, and Robert Stinnett of Sulphur Springs; five grandchildren, Kyler Calvery, Lexi Koonce, Colby Koonce, Cayton Koonce, and Canon Koonce; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held by her family at the Grand Saline Housing Authority Community Center (104 S. Houston St, Grand Saline), 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 7, 2025.
