Logan Kuykendall

Services for Logan Lee Kuykendall, 66, of Alba are scheduled for 2 p.m., Saturday, February 8, 2020, at Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba, with Bro. Rick Childers and Bro. Ralph Swoape officiating.
Mr. Kuykendall passed away February 4, 2020, at his residence. He was born July 25, 1953, in Dallas to Logan L. “Doc” and Ella Mae Potter Kuykendall. He lived the last 25 years in Wood County. On November 19, 1973, Logan married Petra Oppel in Garland. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Logan loved to fish, watch NASCAR and football and enjoyed telling jokes. He was a member of the United States Army and worked as a roofer in the construction industry. Logan was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, E.J. Kuykendall.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Petra Kuykendall of Alba; daughter, Shanon Craig of Alba; three brothers, Mike, Gary, and Johnny; sister, Nancy; three grandchildren, Gary, Logan, and Tiffany; four great-grandchildren, Levi, Eloise, Callie, and Adelyn; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
