Services for Marie M. Lacy, 87 of Whitehouse, are scheduled for 1 p.m., Monday, June 4, 2012 at Bartley Funeral Home with Dr. David Christine officiating.
Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
Mrs. Lacy passed away June 1, 2012 in Tyler. She was born August 8, 1924 in Grand Saline to Clarence B. & Dollie Shivers Moore. She spent many years in Grand Saline, Tyler, Lake Hawkins and Blue Ridge, GA, and then back to Whitehouse in 2006. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Hawkins and worked as an accountant. Mrs. Lacy was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband, Clarence Ray Lacy of Whitehouse; two daughters and sons-in-law, Ruth & Earnest Veach of Grand Saline and Mary Kay & Gary MacKay of Morganton, GA; seven grandchildren, Tony Veach, Sean Veach and wife Laurie, Chris Veach and wife Ashley, Troy Burges, Cristie Carroll, John MacKay and Hollie Bishop; nine great-grandchildren, Joshua Veach and wife Brittany, Rebecca Veach, Seanna Veach, Anna Veach, Robert Veach, Mandy Carroll, Phillip MacKay, Patrick MacKay and Brayden Veach; and two great-great-grandchildren, Julian Coonrod and Gaige Veach.
Memorials may be made to the Van Zandt County Children’s Advocacy Center, 547 Buffalo St. Canton, TX 75103.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home.
