Phyllis Louderman Lappė
Services for Phyllis Lappė, 83 of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Sunday, June 10, 2012 at Bartley Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Parker officiating.
Interment will be in Woodside Cemetery.
Mrs. Lappė passed away June 6, 2012 in Tyler. She was born June 17, 1928 in Dakota City, NE to Charles Oliver & Ada Brotherton Black. She spent her early years in Dallas, 11 years in California and then moved to Grand Saline in 1961. She was a member of Lawrence Springs Baptist Church and worked for Stanley Drug Supply for many years. She named the name of Jesus Christ as her Savior. Mrs. Lappė was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Warren Eugene “Gene” Lappė; six brothers; one sister; and one great-grandchild, Kate Louderman.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, William L. “Bill” Louderman Jr. and wife Jan of Victoria, C.E. “Bub” Louderman and wife Nadra of Mineola; sister, Ardyce Mentzel of Dallas; 6 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be William Joseph Louderman, Michael Jarod Louderman, Charles Louderman Jr., Daniel Louderman, Marc Louderman and Jonathan Louderman.
