Jimmie Laprade Sr

Services for Jimmie Ray LaPrade Sr., 70 of Fruitvale, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Sunday, July 29, 2012 at Lawrence Springs Baptist Church with Bro. Hiram Harris officiating.
Interment will follow in Creagleville Cemetery under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home.
Mr. LaPrade passed away July 27, 2012 at his residence. He was born December 27, 1941 in Grand Saline to Jimmie Lee & Maudie Fay Herron LaPrade. He lived most all of his life in Van Zandt County where he was a member of the Grand Saline Masonic Lodge and the Lawrence Springs Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include son, Jimmie Ray LaPrade Jr. of Grand Saline; daughter, Cindy Michelle LaPrade of Mechanicsville, Virginia; brother and sister-in-law, Roy Lee & Marsha LaPrade of Fruitvale; four sisters and brothers-in-law, JoAnn & Allen Hall of Edgewood, Sue LaPrade of Fruitvale, Clela & James Batchelor of Grand Saline, Linda & Buddy Kindle of Fruitvale; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Chad LaPrade, Jason LaPrade, John Currey, Montana Tippit, James Hawkins and Landon Batchelor.
Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Wayne LaPrade and Willie LaPrade.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
