Services for Colton LaRoe, 21, of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 11 a.m., Friday, November 14, 2014, at Riverside Mission Church with Bro. Donnie Herring officiating.
Colton passed away November 9, 2014 in Grand Saline. He was born December 23, 1992 in Tyler. He lived all of his life in Grand Saline where he graduated from Grand Saline High School in 2012. He attended New Frontiers Cowboy Church, and loved football, track and fishing. He was preceded in death by his sister, Brandi LaRoe; two cousins, Blake Strickland and Bruce Strickland; grandfather, John Strickland; and great-grandparents, Relman & Erlene Nations.
Survivors include his parents, Mike LaRoe of Canton and Renae LaRoe of Grand Saline; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Matt & Kelsi LaRoe of Grand Saline and Dalton & Ashley LaRoe of San Antonio; grandparents; Jack & Martha Cox of Mineola and Greg & Cheryl Scales of Grand Saline; uncles and aunts, Kevin & Wendy Strickland of Grand Saline, Scott Strickland of Beeville and David & Diane Smith of Mineola; niece, Chesnie LaRoe; cousins, Chuck Glidewell, Jennifer Clanton, Kevin Glidewell, Biff Strickland, Sydney Strickland and Stephanie Darcey; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Dean Latta, Greg Latta, Emmit Kindle, Cody Monk, Chase Sanders and Rance Heifner.
The family will receive friends 6 p.m. – 8 p.m., Thursday, November 13, 2014 at Riverside Mission Church in Grand Saline.
