Services for Mary Ann Rayborn Leevey, 81, of Alba, are scheduled for 10 a.m., Saturday, September 19, 2020, at Lighthouse Baptist Church, Alba, with Bro. Cody Rushing, Bro. Ben Leevey, and Bro. Chris Horton officiating under the direction of Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba.
Interment will be in Colony Cemetery, Alba.
Mrs. Leevey passed away September 14, 2020 at her residence in Alba. She was born November 16, 1938, in McComb, Mississippi, to John Lavelle and Wilma Lee Hoots Rayborn. On February 19, 1956, Mary Ann married Robert Dean Leevey in Liberty, Mississippi. She moved from Tyler to Rains County in 1983. She worked as a nurse’s aide and a caregiver. Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 51 years, Robert Dean Leevey; two brothers, Billy Mike Rayborn and David Lavelle Rayborn; two sisters, Peggy Jean Farrell and Patsy Ann Wactor; and great-grandson, Danny Wayne Leevey, Jr.
Survivors include her three sons, Roy Dean Leevey of Alba, Ronald Dale Leevey and wife Janet of Alba, and Robert Douglas Leevey of Quitman; two daughters, Annabell Nance and husband James of Sulphur Springs and Amy Curry and husband Jimmy of Quitman; ten grandchildren, Shan Ward, Shanan Ferrell, Danny Leevey, Ronald Dale Leevey, Jr., Benjamin Leevey, Lindsey Ulman, Cody Rushing, Heather Leevey, Emily Nance, and Hannah Curry; fifteen great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Marshall Noland, Ben Leevey, Cody Rushing, James Nance, Ronald Leevey, Jr., and Randal Spence.
