Michael Lewers

Mr. Michael Alton Lewers, 52, of Alba, passed away on December 11, 2024. He was born on September 20, 1972, in Tyler, to James Larry & Elva Jean Bass Lewers. Michael lived all his life in Wood County where he enjoyed skeet shooting, fishing, and hunting. He worked as a programming machinist in the oil field. Michael is preceded in death by his dad, James Larry Lewers; and brother, Ricky Dwayne Bass.

Survivors include his mother, Elva Jean Lewers of Alba; son, Koleton Blayne Freeman of Yantis; three brothers, James Lacy Lewers (Terri) of Sunnyvale, Freddy Lewers (Sharon) of Van, and Larry Lewers of San Antonio; sister, Mary Eloise Tucker of Alabama; his second family, employees of Fabricon of Duncanville; and numerous other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, December 21, 2024, at Amazing Grace Fellowship Church in Alba, by his family and church.
