Terry Denice “Tutz” Lewers
ALBA – Memorial services for Terry Denice “Tutz” Lewers, 55, of Alba, will be held at Lighthouse Baptist Church, Alba, Thursday, May 8, 2014, at 10 a.m., under the direction of the church and family, with Bro. Byron George officiating. Cremation arrangements are with Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba.
“Tutz” passed away Sunday, May 4, 2014, at her residence.
She was born June 30, 1958, in Dallas, to the late David Henry Byars and Pauline Faye Coats. She married Edward “Stack” Lewers on October 4, 1975, in Rains County, and had lived most of her life in Rains County. She was a registered nurse, and a song leader at Lighthouse Baptist Church where she was a member.
Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Edward “Stack” Lewers of Alba; son, David Lewers and wife April of Golden; daughters, Stacey Campbell and husband Jason, and Charly Lewers all of Alba; sister, Erma Young of Dallas; and 10 grandchildren, Blane, Bryan, Jasey, Kase and Kole Campbell, Landry, and Joecey Lewers, Justin and Molly Bramlett, and Jagger Duncan; uncle, Jeff Coats and wife Beth; and numerous other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Jackie Hoofard; half-brother, Larry Young; and aunt, Alline Coats.
