Robert Lewis

Services for Robert G. Lewis, 73, of Fruitvale, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at Bartley Funeral Home with Randy Blanks officiating.

Burial will follow in Creagleville Cemetery.

Mr. Lewis passed away November 24, 2024, in Fruitvale. He was born September 8, 1951, in Mesa, AZ, to Charles Edgar & Mickey Clella Roseberry Lewis. He was a Vietnam vet with 7 years of service in the US Air Force. He worked as a glazier in the industrial glass industry. Robert was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jeffrey Lewis; brother, Chuck Lewis; two sisters, Barbara Jones and Tammie Ray; and two brothers-in-law, Herbert Lane and James Jones.

Survivors include his wife, Debbie Lewis of Fruitvale; two sons, Mitchell Lewis and wife Ka’Leah of Odessa, and Mark Lewis of Garland; two daughters, Melissa Daley and husband Marcus of Fruitvale, and Alyson Coleman and husband Hendrick of Henderson; brother, Buster Lewis and wife Kim of Fruitvale; two sisters, Linda Lane of Fruitvale, and Dale Geeslin of Oklahoma City, OK; twenty grandchildren, Damon, Scarlett, Kayle and wife Ashley, Emily, Jake, Zack, Kassidy, Anne-Marie, Seraphina, Luke, Evelyn, Maverick, Guinevere, Austin, Apollo, Braeylon, Shakerria, Nakaylyn, Tylayshia, and Tiara; six great-grandchildren, Braxton, Eli, McKinley, Axl, Tatum, and Ezikiel; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Mitchell Lewis, Kayle Lewis, Marcus Daley, Byron Blanks, Michael Lane, Mark Lewis, and Hendrick Coleman.

Honorary pallbearers will be Brenton Daniels and Clayton Lane.

The family will receive friends 1 p.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home.
