Linda Ann Sanders, age 84, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 4, 2026, at Azalea Trail, surrounded by her loving family.
Linda was born on May 27, 1942, in Alba, Texas, to Joe and Maisy Sanders. She lived a life rooted in faith and family, always putting others before herself. Her love for the Lord guided the way she cared for those around her, and her greatest joy came from spending time with the people she loved most. She was a devoted member and chaplain of The Order of the Eastern Star, Order 170 of Quinlan, TX.
Linda cherished simple pleasures and the beauty of God’s creation. She could often be found fishing or arrowhead hunting alongside her beloved sister and best friend, Nadyne. She took great pride in tending her beautiful garden, where vegetables flourished under her green thumb. A gifted caregiver and wonderful cook, Linda expressed her love through acts of service, always making sure no one left her home hungry. There was never a Christmas without her famous muscadine jelly or an Easter without her bunny cake!
Linda is preceded in death by her Father and Mother, Joe and Maisy Sanders of Alba; sister, Mary Jo Sanders of Alba; brother, Charlie Joe Sanders of Alba; son, Steve Potts; and grandsons, Joseph and Randy Noland.
Survivors include her children, David Potts of Alba, Darlene Blanton, and husband, Ronald Sr. of Emory, Brock Potts, and wife Greta, of Golden, Elizabeth Potts of Alba, Mary Potts of Alba, Jami Burns of Tyler, and Nina Burns of Tyler; siblings, Nadyne Taylor of Emory, Rabon (Scooter) Sanders of Denton, Katie Thorton of Winnsboro, Madie Reid of Mineola, Billy Sanders of Alba; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Potts, Jaxon Ringgold, Ronald Blanton Jr., Michael Donaldson, Payton Dickinson, Levi Spindle, Kaleb Allen, and Canyon Allen.
Honorary pallbearers will be Kaleb McCarthy, Jonathan Potts, and Joshua Potts.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to services on Tuesday at the church.
