Larry Lonaker

Graveside services for Larry Douglas Lonaker, 76, of Emory, are scheduled for 1 p.m., Friday, October 21, 2022, at Salem Cemetery, Alba, with Bro. Byron George officiating, under the direction of Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home.

Mr. Lonaker passed away October 16, 2022, in Bonham. He was born September 18, 1946, in Macon, Georgia, to Douglas Fairbank and Beatrice McConnell Lonaker. Larry served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War. He had lived in Georgia, Ft. Worth, and Alba, worked as a mechanic and enjoyed watching old western movies. He was preceded in death by his parents; and wife, Joyce Jennette Lonaker.

Survivors include his two sons, Chad Lonaker and wife Amanda of Augusta, Georgia, and Shawn Lonaker of Carthage; two sisters, Pamela Nix and husband Gordy of Emory and Debra Bryant and husband Edward of Tyler; five grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
