Sandra Lorance

Services for Sandra Carolyn Moss Lorance, 73, of Winnsboro are scheduled for 10 a.m., Thursday, June 18, 2020, at East Point Baptist Church, Winnsboro with Bro. James Scott and Scott Lorance officiating under the direction of Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba.
Interment will be in Little Hope Cemetery, Winnsboro.
Mrs. Lorance passed away June 13, 2020, in Tyler. She was born October 4, 1946, in Pittsburgh to Oscar Jack and Rosa Lee Whitworth Moss. On June 7, 1963, Sandra married Gilbert Wayne Lorance in Dallas. She moved from McKinney to Winnsboro and has lived there for the past twenty years. She was a member of the East Point Baptist Church of Winnsboro.
Sandra was heard to say, “I’ll never regret the day that I accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as my savior, and to my family, I pray that they come to know the Lord Jesus Christ as their savior, if the haven’t already. I am home at last resting in Jesus.”
Mrs. Lorance was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Leon Moss, Dexter Moss, Jack Moss, Jr., Norman Moss, Jerry Moss, Joe Moss, and infant brother, William Moss.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Gilbert Lorance of Winnsboro; son, Scott Lorance and wife Terri of Winnsboro; daughter, Jeanny Murphy of Farmersville; six grandchildren, Ashley Lorance, Amber Nash, Joseph Murphy, Kassandra Murphy, Alyssa Murphy, and Alexis Honea; fifteen great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Jonathan Pangle, Joshua Pangle, Justin Pangle, Joseph Murphy, Curtis Bundrant, Leonard Nash, Jr., Brandon Honea, and Steve Waters.
The family will receive friends, 6-8 p.m., Wednesday at Wilson Bartley Funeral Home, Alba.
