Cleborn Love

Services for Cleborn Odell "Peanut" Love, 91, of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 1 p.m., Monday, May 2, 2016, at Sand Flat Baptist Church with Bro. Ed Ridge and Bro. Dennis Morris officiating.
Interment will be in Sand Flat Cemetery under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home.
Mr. Love passed away April 28, 2016, in Tyler. He was born October 1, 1924, in Wood County to Drew Jefferson & Izora Howell Love. He spent his early years in Quitman and the last 55 years in Grand Saline. He was a member of Sand Flat Baptist Church and a member of the Quitman Masonic Lodge. "Peanut" was preceded in death by his parents; son, Alvin Ray Love; three brothers; five sisters; grandson, Shannon Love; and granddaughter, Cindy Love.
Survivors include his wife of 70 years, Elsie Love of Grand Saline; three son & daughters-in-law, Buford & Jackie Love of Sulphur Springs, Calvin & Sandy Love of Fruitvale and Clifford & Sheri Love of Silver Lake; two daughters & sons-in-law, Alice & Chris Freeze of Fruitvale and Tami & Dennis Elliott of Canton; fourteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Love, Bobby Love, Jason Love, Cleborn Freeze, Chris Freeze, Jr. and Dennis Elliott.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of East Texas, Gideons International or Sand Flat Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m., Sunday, at the funeral home.
