Services for Billy Craig Lovett, Sr. are scheduled for 11:00 am, Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at Bartley Funeral Home with Bro. Mack Swain officiating.
Interment will follow in Shields Cemetery.
Billy Craig was born August 29, 1937 in Grand Saline to Willie Henry and Mattie Luvera Joyner Lovett. He lived most of his life in Grand Saline. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Tommie Sue Lovett; brother, Bascom Lovett; and sister, Laveta Lovett.
Survivors include son, Billy Lovett, Jr. and wife Cathy of Springtown; daughter, DeAnn Cude and husband Dennis of Mineola; sisters, Reba Nolen and husband H. of Grand Saline and Betty Heddin of Mineola; sister-in-law, Willie Thompson Lovett of Grand Saline; six grandchildren, Casey Lovett, Laci Lovett, Morgan Kirkbride, Gary Grantham, Jr., Misty Dawn Grantham, and Cody Lynn Grantham; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends 6-8 pm, Tuesday at the funeral home.
