ALBA – Services for Martha Jean Loyd, 66, of Alba, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 13, 2016, at Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home chapel, Alba, with David Glaze officiating.
Burial will be in Salem Cemetery, Alba.
Mrs. Loyd passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2016, in a Quitman hospital.
She was born Friday, August 12, 1949, in Lockney TX, to the late Thomas Edman and Imogene Williams McLeroy. She married Lindley V. Loyd in July of 1967 in Rains County. She had lived in Alba for 39 years.
Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Lindley Loyd of Alba; son, Joe Ray Loyd of Alba; daughters, Sue Harpole and husband Richard of Emory and Julie Potts of Alba; brother, Don McLeroy and wife Virginia of Emory; 11 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter, Nicole Keller.
Pallbearers are Daniel Potts, Tony Harpole, Johnathan Potts, Colton Potts, Joseph Potts, and Jason Osborn.
Family visitation will be at the funeral home Saturday evening 6-8 p.m.
