Services for Irelia Gonzalez Martinez, 45, of Grand Saline are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Thursday, July 18, 2013 at St. Celestine Catholic Church in Grand Saline with Pastor Hosea T. Palma and Father Victor Hernandez officiating. Interment will follow in Woodside Cemetery, Grand Saline.
Ms. Martinez passed away July 16, 2013. She was born July 25, 1967 to Tereso Martinez and Hortencia Gonzalez Martinez in Celaya Guanajuato, Mexico.
Irelia is survived by her parents; one daughter, Jennifer Patricia Mendoza of Grand Saline; four brothers, Jaime Martinez Gonzalez of California, Jose Antonio Martinez Gonzalez of Grand Saline, Juan Luis Martinez Gonzalez of Connecticut, and Jose Marcelo Martinez Gonzalez of Mexico; three sisters, Maria de la Luz Mancera Martinez of Grand Saline, Ana Maria Martinez Gonzalez of Mexico, and Leticia Martinez Gonzalez of Mexico.
A Rosary service will be held at 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at Bartley Funeral Home in Grand Saline.
