ALBA – Family visitation for Frances Lucille “Toodie” Davis Maxwell, 70, of Alba, is scheduled for Saturday, October 7, 2017, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of the funeral home.
Mrs. Maxwell passed away October 2, 2017, in Tyler.
She was born Tuesday, July 8, 1947, in Pekin, Illinois, to Charles Allen and Lucille Marie Parks Davis. She married David Allen Maxwell on December 10, 1977, in Dallas. She was a Secretary in Customer Relations and lived in Alba for 24 years. She was employed by Dimensions Central Marble in Alba. Toodie was a member of the Patriot Guard Riders, the Rett Syndrome Foundation and she attended Lake Fork Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Howard Carr and Dean Carr; and sister, Helen Parks.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years, David Maxwell of Alba; sons, Richard Irving and wife Cheryl Westervelt of Alba, Timothy Scott and wife Lisa Westervelt of Alba, David Eugene and wife Jessica Maxwell of Chilton, Wisconsin, and Steven William and wife Mae Rean Maxwell of Alba; daughter, Melissa DeAnne Williams of Alba; 15 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren with one on the way; close friend, Joyce Wilson; numerous nieces and nephews and numerous other relatives and friends.
