Services for Joan Hass McBride, 80, of Alba, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Thursday, November 3, 2022, at Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, with Chaplain Robert Stovall officiating.

Interment will be in Pilgrim Rest #1 Cemetery, Emory.

Raymonda Joan Seay McBride passed away October 29, 2022, at her home. She was born August 10, 1942, in Farmersville to Thadeus Lee & Nellie Beatrice Woods Seay. Joan spent most of her life in Alba, where she worked as a manager for Pay-N-Save and Alba Parts for many years. She loved the Lord so very much! Joan was very creative. She especially enjoyed her ceramic business, Joan’s Ceramics, and being a seamstress, amongst other crafts. She worked hard, was always very friendly, and truly loved animals. Joan is preceded in death by her parents; husband, W. T Hass, Jr., husband, Johnny McBride; brother, Jackie Seay; and sisters, Peggy Addington, Joyce Armstrong, and Wanda Hass.

Survivors include her two daughters, Leanna Burge and husband Ronnie of Alba, and Jayna Fountain and husband Bruce of Alba; son, Dennis McBride of Alba; sister, Dexie Gilbert of North Richland Hills; eight grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends; three dogs, a 21-year-old Macaw, and her donkey, Chester.

Pallbearers will be Donnie Burge, David Burge, Brandon McBride, Tim Westervelt, Jason Hass, Gabe Hass, and Clay Hass.

The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home.
