Dafphine Boazman McCain
Services for Dafphine Boazman McCain, 93, of Grand Saline will be held at Bartley Funeral Home on Sunday, November 3, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Dan Gilliam officiating. Interment will follow at Woodside Cemetery in Grand Saline.
Mrs. McCain passed away October 31, 2013. She was born February 20, 1920 to William Josh “W.J.” and Clara Hay Carnes, in Wills Point, Texas. She lived most of her life in Grand Saline and was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Dafphine is preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Richard Boazman and Jimmy McCain; three brothers; three sisters; and one grandson, Mark Buchanan.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Stan and Barbara Boazman of Grand Saline and Tommy and Sharon McCain of Levelland; two daughters and one son-in-law, Merigale Allen of Grand Saline and Jimmie Lou and Dave Buchanan of Emory; one brother, R.V. Carnes of Grand Saline; two sisters-in-law, Maxine Carnes of Grand Saline and Adoline Lanfry of San Antonio; six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, November 3, 2013 at Bartley Funeral Home.
