Memorial services for Mark Anthony McCain, 62, of Alba, are scheduled for 12 p.m., Saturday, June 3, 2023, at Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba, with Mark Howard officiating.

Mark passed away May 26, 2023, at his residence in Alba. He was born February 20, 1961, in Dallas, to James and Patricia Rutherford McCain. On February 14, 1981, he married Billie Carol Phillips in Irving. Together, they moved from Irving to Alba in 2016. Mark was a kindhearted man who was well liked and loved. He loved fishing and tournaments, always looking to win the big one, as well as dove hunting. Family vacations to the beach and Disney World were things he treasured. Mark was a licensed journeyman plumber, although he spent most of his career in plumbing design and project management at engineering firms. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Cathey Wright.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Billie McCain of Alba; two daughters, Carol Blackwell and husband Bruce of Arlington and Susan Corley of Ft. Worth; two grandsons, Bruce and Finn; sister, Gayleen Leach of Stephenville; and numerous other relatives and friends.
