Services for Pamela Denise “Pam” Lewers McCartney, 57, of Mineola, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Monday, April 28, 2025, at Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba, with Rev. Dr. Kelvin Lynch officiating.

Interment will follow in Emory City Cemetery.

Mrs. McCartney passed away April 23, 2025, at her residence in Mineola. She was born November 1, 1967, in Pozzuoli, Italy, to Freddie Roy and Ramona Mae Melton Lewers. Pam lived in the Wood County area for 45 years and was a member of Harvest Acres Baptist Church in Mineola. On June 4, 1988, she married Charles “Chuck” Nelson McCartney in Alba. She was a member of the Wallcovering Installers Association and also served on the board of installers and associates. Pam enjoyed driving her jeep and loved off-roading, listening to music, and spending time with family and friends. She is preceded in death by her mother, Ramona Mae Lewers; and brother-in-law, Carl Morris.

Survivors include her husband of 36 years, Charles McCartney of Mineola; father, Freddie Roy Lewers of Mineola; daughter, Brittany Janes and husband Matt of Tolar; sister, Kimberly Morris of Golden; four grandchildren, Rileigh, Preston, Noah, and Landon; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Matt Janes, Lance Ripley, Riley Odom, Coty Morris, Hugo Cintron, and Wayne Pair.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday, April 27, 2025, from 6-8 p.m., at the funeral home.
