Services for Mr. Ronnie "Snuffy" McCormick, 61 of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Monday, November 5, 2012 at Caney Creek Cowboy Church with Bro. Bill Polley officiating.
Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home.
Mr. McCormick passed away November 2, 2012 in Fruitvale. He was born October 20, 1951 in Grand Saline to Luther & Rosie Bailey McCormack. He spent all of his life in Grand Saline where he was a member of Caney Creek Cowboy Church, Grand Saline Coffee Shop Crew and owned/operated a sanitation service. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Cloyce McCormick and Nolan McCormick; sister, Maureen Jackson; two half-brothers; and grandson, Riley McCormick.
Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald & Trina McCormick, Marty & Karla McCormick and Rowdy & Tonya McCormick, all of Fruitvale; sister, Hazel "Tooter" Shelledy of Dublin; and ten grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Sloan, Terry Allen, Bob Krell, James Littlejohn, Lou Mazar and Sam Looney.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ryan Winder McCormick and Ty Winder McCormick.
The family will receive friends Sunday, November 4, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
