Glenda Mcmahen

Mrs. Glenda Jean Clark McMahen, 83, passed away Saturday, November 4, 2023, at her residence in Alba. She was born December 2, 1939, in Hope, AR, to Andrew Odowell and Myrth Jean Herring Clark. On March 28, 1958, she married John Gammon McMahen in Stamps, AR. She lived in Alba for 22 years and then Red Oak for 17 years, before moving back to Alba a year ago. Glenda attended Ovilla Church of Christ. She loved sewing, crocheting, and cooking for her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; two sisters; and daughter, Sheila McMahen.

Survivors include her husband of 65 years, John McMahen of Alba; two daughters, Stefanie Moore and husband Jason of Alba and Stacy Steele and husband Tommy of DeSoto; two sisters, Cindy Williams and husband Dwayne of Bryan and Marilyn Bocan and husband Dan of Magnolia, AR; six grandchildren, Sharla, Christopher, Kati, John Blake, Chloe, and Taylor; six great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

The family will be holding a memorial service for Glenda at a later date.
