Joe Minick

Mr. Joe David Minick, 68, passed away Monday, June 17, 2024, at his residence in Saltillo. He was born November 18, 1955, in Pittsburg, to James Carl and Juanita Temple Minick. On March 11, 1978, he married Teresa Ann Mills in Saltillo. Together, they lived in the Saltillo area for 46 years. Joe enjoyed playing dominos, fishing, hunting, and watching western movies. He loved his family and playing with his grandkids. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Roxanne Neal; and son, Kenny Minick.

Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Teresa Minick of Saltillo; two daughters, Juanita Minick of Mt. Vernon and Samantha Minick of Saltillo; brother, Justin Minick; sister, Becky Minick of Sulphur Springs; ten grandchildren, Devin, Kelee, Joel, Calvin, Mary, Kelsie, Casey, Collin, Parker, and Cylis; and numerous other relatives and friends.

A memorial service for Joe is scheduled for 1 p.m., Saturday, July 20, 2024, at Wesley United Methodist Church, Sulphur Springs, with Pastor Joey Clark officiating, under the direction of the church and family.
