Monroe Reich

Services for Mr. Monroe Reich, 85, of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 10 a.m., Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at Bartley Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Huston officiating.

Interment will be in Eastlawn Memorial Park, Early, TX.

Mr. Reich passed away November 8, 2025, at his home in Grand Saline. He was born December 22, 1939, in Early. He grew up in Early and graduated from Early High School, Class of 1957. Monroe had lived in Grand Saline for over 25 years and was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Canton.

Mr. Reich was preceded in death by his parents, Gottleib John “G. J.” & Bertha Nauert Reich; wife of 38 years, Betty Reich; brothers, Leroy Reich, Norman Reich, and Pastor Raymond Reich; and sisters-in-law, Alene Reich, and Jean Reich.

Survivors include his two sons, Michael Reich and wife Dianna of Canton, and Jimmy Reich of Wills Point; two daughters, Kimberly Hampton and husband Terry of Dallas, and Shirley Reich of Austin; step-sons and step-daughter, Jody Lunsford and wife Joyce Brand of Fruitvale, Michael Lunsford and wife Joni of Grand Saline, and Janice Swain and husband Michael of Grand Saline; brother, Albert Reich and wife Sandy of Iowa; ten grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at the funeral home.
