Services for Nelda Jean Geraldon Moore, 78, of Grand Prairie, are scheduled for 11 a.m., Friday, May 10, 2024, at Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba, with Pastor Todd Lasseter officiating.
Interment will be in Salem Cemetery, Alba.
Mrs. Moore passed away May 7, 2024, in Dallas. She was born October 2, 1945, in Merced, CA, to Raymond Oren and Nannie Arlene Strebeck Geraldon. Nelda lived most of her life in Grand Prairie and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Arlington. She worked taking care of elderly people, until January 2024. She loved a good yard sale, more than life itself. Nelda was preceded in death by her parents; son, Timmy Moore; granddaughter, Colleen Moore; three brothers, Danny Mac Geraldon, Raymond Oren Geraldon, Jr., and Ray Lynn Geraldon; three sisters, Marie West, Kathy Irons, and Gennettia Jackson.
Survivors include her husband, Richard Rinehart of Grand Prairie; two sons, Darren Moore and wife Susan of Grand Prairie and Jason Moore of Grand Prairie; daughter, Cindy Barnett and husband Tommy of Arlington; brother, Ricky Geraldon and wife Shirley of Lawn; three sisters, Georgie Coonrod of Whitney, Lena Cason of Emory, and Fay Crawford of Arlington; sist-in-law, Peggy Whitus Geraldon of Yantis; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Philip Camp, Anthony Barnett, Ryan Moore, Caleb Robertson, and Brent Cason.
The family will receive friends, 10 a.m., Friday, at the funeral home.
