Services for Joey Don Morgan, 21 of Fruitvale, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Saturday, July 27, 2013 at Main Street Baptist Church with Bro. Eddie Paul officiating.
Interment will follow in Creagleville Cemetery under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home.
Joey passed away July 24, 2013 in Fruitvale. He was born February 16, 1992 in Tyler. He spent all of his life in Grand Saline and Fruitvale where he was a 2011 Graduate of Grand Saline High School. Joey loved to hunt and fish and worked for Scan Drilling. He had the gift of gab and never met a stranger. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Donna Koonce; great-grandparents, Robert & Lillian Williams, Bob O’Conner, J.W. & Margaret Fincher, Andrew Morgan and Ginney Elder; 2nd cousin, Sam Bo Morgan; and uncle, Buddy Morgan.
Survivors include his father, Gerald Morgan of Grand Saline; mother & stepdad, Kristie & Joe Limberger of Fruitvale; brothers, Joseph E. Lee Morgan of Fruitvale and Colby Lynn Morgan of Forney; two step-sisters, Annika Limberger and Paige Limberger, of Fruitvale; grandparents, Jacky & Venetia Morgan of Fruitvale, Jerry & Barbara Koonce of Fruitvale, and Ron & Ann Limberger of Fruitvale; great-grandmother, Bonnie O’Conner of Fruitvale; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Donnie Green, Travis Miller, Josh Carpenter, Carlos Rongel, Robbie Beall, Chris Whitaker, Lane Davis and Dustin Soules.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
