ALBA – Services for Robert Eugene Morris, 53, of Alba, are scheduled for 3 p.m. Saturday, November 9, 2019, at Lake Fork Baptist Church, Alba, under the direction of Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home of Alba, with Bro. Josh Allred, A.J.’s Youth pastor, officiating.
Mr. Morris passed away Monday, November 4, 2019, at his residence.
He was born on Saturday, February 19, 1966, in Orange City, Orange County, California, to Robby Dean and Linda Sue Thomas Morris. He married Bernice Lee Jarrett in Emory on January 7, 2019. He moved to Alba 16 months ago from Waxahachie where he had resided for 3 years. He was a member of GBO-Body Building PRO; chairman of ISA-ISAA Power Lifting PRO, and entered Muscle Research as Mr. Muscle. He owned Metroplex Waterproofing and Construct, and also worked for Aqua TeK.
Survivors include his wife, Bernice Morris of Alba; mother, Linda Mize and step-dad, Kelly Rash of Oklahoma City, OK; father, Robby Morris and step-mom, Elsa of Athens; sons, “Little” Robert Morris of Red Oak, Christian Morris of Plano, and Michael Morris of Weatherford; daughters, Victoria Morris of Dallas, Alexus Morris of Weatherford, and A.J. Jarrett of Alba; brothers, Kenny Morris and wife DeeDee of Red Oak, and Ronnie Morris of Red Oak; sisters, Kimberly Carpenter and husband Travis of Oklahoma City, OK, and Michelle Gallop of Princeton; and 6 grandchildren, Ava, Dillon, Kelsey, Lillian, Stetson, and Paxton; nieces, Aspen, Rachel, Casey, Jessica, and Ashley; nephews, Ryan, Christopher, and Brandon; great nephews, Levi and Ryder; and numerous other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Terri Hodges.
Pallbearers will be Scott Jones, Cory Jones, Lorenzo Jones, Douglas Roe (Spike), Keith French, and Harry Stevens.
Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the church.
