Nadyne Taylor (Sanders)

Services for Nadyne Sanders Taylor, 93, of Emory, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba.

Interment will follow in Salem Cemetery, Alba.

Mrs. Taylor passed away September 3, 2026, in Quitman. She was born June 15, 1933, in Alba, to Joseph William and Maisy Hass Sanders. On January 16, 1953, Nadyne married the love of her life, Billy Taylor, in Alba. Together, they built a life and a home in Emory, where they lived for the last 45 years. Their 55 years of marriage were filled with family, hard work, laughter, and memories that will remain with those who loved them.

Nadyne was a member of the Quinlan Chapter #170 Order of the Eastern Star and was deeply devoted to her family. She was a woman who loved life and stayed active well beyond what most would expect. She was a pitcher who truly loved softball—not only playing the game, but coaching and sharing her love of it with others. She continued playing until she was 60 years old. She also enjoyed the outdoors. She loved fishing and arrowhead hunting with her sister and best friend Linda.

Nadyne was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Billy Taylor; great-grandson, Holden Sisk; brother, Charlie Joe Sanders; and sisters, Linda Ann Sanders and Mary Jo Sanders.

Survivors include her three daughters, Karen Craver and husband Rob of Mineola, Susan Brown and husband Paul of Quinlan, and Billie Hubbard and husband Mike of Royce City; two brothers, Rabon “Scooter” Sanders of Denton and Billy Sanders of Golden; two sisters, Katie Thornton of Winnsboro and Madie Reid of Mineola; six grandchildren, Lorissa, Kyla, Michael, Trent, Kristen, and Taylor; five great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Trent Sisk, Michael Hubbard, Chris Doyle, Kennin Doyle, Jason Molina, and Chandler Swinford.

Honorary pallbearers are Carter Sisk and Grayson Sisk.

The family will receive friends at 1 p.m., Tuesday, before the service at the funeral home.
